The Challenge
Heart disease is the leading cause of death among U.S. men, with one in four dying from it. Erectile dysfunction (ED) is often an early indicator of cardiovascular disease (CVD), but many men tend to treat these issues separately. Hims identified an opportunity to address both sexual health and heart health together in a single, streamlined solution.
The Insight
Hims recognized that many men with ED are also at higher risk for heart disease, yet they often face multiple health concerns without integrated treatment options. Nearly 30% of Hims customers have one or more cardiovascular risk factors, so there’s a clear need for preventive care that’s simple, effective, and personalized. Combining ED medications and statins into one pill was a logical step to improve adherence and better support overall health.
